Tethany 2006

Here's the Maid of Honor, Jenna. I know...She's pretty much a model, I've known her forever and come close to marrying her myself a number of times

Here they are at the altar. They had friends read different things like Bible passages, poems, and Jenna (see above) read out of Bethany's journal from when she was 15 and she was all like "Oh I have such a crush on Ted, I hope it doesn't last" or something like that. It was so funny.

Here she is putting the ring on his finger. They had her Promise ring put into the center of his ring so if you look at the inside you can see the band of gold that she used to wear.

This one pretty much explains itself. They were like this for fifteen seconds. count that out, it's a long time, I was like Ok moving on.

Aren't they so cute? they served the Meat at the beginning of the reception in their little aprons.

Ted's a child at heart I think, this is the head table (lacking the presence of yours truly I might add)

Here's them cutting their little cake. There was other stuff for the guests, but this was theirs.

This was right before they left, pretty much my sister's married now

This is them leaving, they were going to go see my Grandpa before they left for the Honeymoon, he had a mild heart attack two days ago and couldn't come to the wedding. We had a web cam though, and we taped it for him.

This is them making their gettaway to the undisclosed Honeymoon location. (By the way, Undisclosed only means they didn't tell anyone, but I have my ways of knowing things I shouldn't...Let's just say nothing gets past The Ambassador, that's me.)

Chelsea don't be ticked that I didn't put a picture of you, John, and I up, I didn't have any good ones, maybe Lee does. I know it's totally not about the class to put up pictures of my sister's wedding, but you know we have like 8 girls in the class and girls like weddings (so I hear) It'll be like this later when we tell about our college stuff, now that I'm going alone! Really though, I'm so glad you made it to Whitworth after everything Chels, even if you can't go to Wicked. Maybe I'll tape it for you, I can become an illegal movie maker like Seth R. said.

Hey everybody, I switched the blog that has my story on it from "Senior 2006" to my personal profile, so it's still the same address as always, and you can find it at my profile, it just won't show up when you log into the class profile.

Yeah I'll tell you when they get back. I wouldn't say it's over yet, you should see all the cleaning and taking back of things we have to do, I'm pretty much hiding in my room for the next two weeks. As a totally different thought, have you all any idea of how much stuff you get when you get married? I just went and unloaded all their stuff at their house, it's unbelievable.

Yes, this is the price you pay for getting married I suppose. I really hope he doesn't try to carry her across their little threashold because there's not much room with all their junk in the entry way and they're gonna wind up face down in their own gifts. It would be kind of funny I suppose. So far so good on Rottentomatoes.com with Pirates 2. 77% isn't bad for an early rating. Who's doing what for the Fourth?

K...few things. 1. Miss Laura WIlson, apart from Whitney you are the only one who is not a member. 2. I bought POTC: DMC's soundtrack. It's pretty good so far. My only complaint is that they have fewer, but longer songs, so it's harder to have a few you listen to. All in all pretty good, and only $8 on I-tunes.

Yeah, That whole thank you note thing sucks. I didn't get Tethany a gift but if that really is you guys, know that I love you and I wish you all the best. Think of me not giving you a gift, as a gift, because that's one less thank you note you have to write. I know I'm so generous!! Just kidding. I love you guys and I hope your having fun in "Mexico" if that's really where you are.
I went laptop shopping the other day and found the one I want. I'm so excited. Hopefully in the next month I'll have it. Plus the guy telling us about them was really cute...but not as cute as "Derek" from Red Robin. Sorry Lynzy.

K...more on POTC....Currently at 60%, however, reading a little between the lines, it becomes apparent that it is not that bad. First, many of these nay-sayers didn't like the first 1, meaning if you did, you can ignore them. Second, several of them don't like it because it's not as original a premise, becuase Depp isn't redifing pirate..he's merely doing the same thing as last time...so again, if you liked the first 1, you'll like this one. Some are saying it's too long, but as we've all(mostly) seen LOTR 3 nd King Kong..2.5 hours is short...sort of. Anyway, the critics that like it like it and not all of those who don't appear to have a good reason not to like it. Anyway...I predict good things, so I am not the least bit dettered.

Wow, last I checked it was high seventies and now this? I really don't care though, it's got Johnny Depp, and Gore Verbinski's still directing. I maintain high hopes, but I've always been sort of a sucker for summer movies.

Still defending what I expect to be a great movie. WHile it's percentage is, remarkably, low, It's rating isn't as bad. It is at 6/10...Superman , which is at 74% is 7.1/10. So despite the large percentage dif, the rating is only 1 star different. Also, I wil be gone for a whole stinkin week, so if anyone sees this movie keep spoilers off the blog please.

HOLY FREAKING CRAP!!! People who frequent this blog, ignore the bad reviews, ignore the semi good reviews, ignore all reviews that say anything contrary to Pirates 2 being equal if not superior to the first in every way. I just got back from the Midnight show (see my movies blog for full review) and it was so good it almost makes me mad, I don't want to wait a year for number three, I don't want to wait ten minutes, seriously I'd watch it this very second if possible!

Chelsea, if you're on here, I have 47 of the 62 songs we had down, and I think that of the fifteen left, there are only two maybe three that you don't have, so we're pretty good to go. I ended up buying American Pie off of iTunes but it was worth it. I talked to John as well. I'm off to see Pirates again, seriously, I love that movie!

Laura, I'm glad you can now understand the wonderfulness of that movie, Pirates 2 reminds me a lot of it. I serious as I was thinking about it there's a lot of things similar in good ways to Casablanca.
Tethany, so help me if someone out there is masquerading as my sister and her husband there'll be heck to pay, if it really is you, Bethany you must see Pirates 2, you'd love some of the lines about weddings. And as far as diplomas go, no I haven't seen one yet, but I've given up listing the inadequacies of the school long ago, it gets me both in trouble with all sorts of people, and worse, terribly exhausted

For all the pirates fans it looks lik it's going to break the record for three day weekend. It's already beat the one day opening, making $55.5 million on it's first day. the previous record holder was Star Wars III last year with $50 million. The record for three day openings is 114.8 million by Spider-Man in 2002. Personaly I think Pirates will beat it, but it may not keep its high earnings today and tomorrow. I guess I'll just have to wait until tomorrow.

I just saw PotC2:DMC. First one's better in my opinion. There's a little bonus after the credits (albeit it's only 30 seconds long and is only a bonus, not a revelation/plot twist, so it might be a waste of time for some people).

Pirates 2 made $132,028,000 in three days. Three freaking days.

Ok so obviously no one cares about diplomas. No, no thay don't mean anything. They aren't a symbol of accomplishment and the former seniors don't deserve them so i guess the school never has to send them out. Once again just keep your heads low and don't make them angry and "eventually" it will get done. Well don't hold your breath!

well said! peeved observer, though that won't be quoted in the nota bene any time soon. It really is surprising. Any other school and the students would be beating down the doors, but not here. We've been conditioned to think that because the school does/says it, it is right and unquestionable. I'm calling the school tomorrow to see what the excuse is.

what's up with these comments? I got an email saying that "a disturbed former senior who is concerned that the former senior class doesn't care about diplomas" left a comment at 4:31 today saying "I think the heading speaks for itself!!" but this comment does not appear on the post? there's not even a spot where a comment was erased. What's the deal?

It is just paper, but I want to hold it and have it as hard evidence, I can just see it now, the day I'm packing for school in the fall they'll come bursting in to infrom me that there's been a mix up and I'll have to re-do the last year of school. Furthermore, can you imagine if we turned in, say, our precious poiesise a month and a half late? I don't think that would fly, so why doesn't the accountability work both ways?
